Convert TMX File to GlossML Format

Follow these steps to convert a TMX file to a GlossML glossary.

About this task

Use this task to reuse the terms stored in a TMX translation memory as the starting point for a glossary.

Procedure

  1. Select Tasks → Convert TMX to GlossML from the main menu.
    The Convert TMX to GlossML dialog is displayed:

  2. Type the name of the TMX file in the TMX File box or click the Browse... button next to it to select an existing TMX file from the file system.
  3. Type the name of the glossary to create in the GlossML File box or click the Browse... button next to it to select a name and location.
  4. Optionally, select the Open generated glossary checkbox to open the new glossary in Anchovy after conversion.
  5. Click the Convert TMX to GlossML button.

Results

A new glossary is created and stored in the selected location.
