Split Segment

Folow these steps to split a segment in two at translation time.

About this task

Procedure

  1. In a projects translation tab, select the segment that you want to split.
  2. Select Edit → Split Segment ([Ctrl+H] on Windows/Linux, [Cmd+H] on macOS) from the main menu or click the Split Segment button on the top toolbar.
    Source text is selected and highlighed in a different color.
  3. Place the cursor at the point where you want to split the segment.
  4. Press [Enter].

Results

On success, the segment is split at the selected point and the screen is updated to reflect the changes.
